Southeastern Ancient Woodpecker Medallion/Gorget

Our modern interpretation of a prehistoric southeastern woodland gorget: featuring four woodpecker heads facing counter-clockwise dancing with the wind, four-looped square, and a cross within a rayed sun.

Shell used: Mother of Pearl, Yellow Lip, Black Lip, Abalone, White Clam, and Orange Spiny.

Hand Crafted in .925 Sterling Silver with Shell Inlay and Copper Accents

App 3 inch diameter

Each shell is hand cut and precisely inlaid, therefore no two items are exact.
